Alice Robinson achieves her first win and podium finish in the Super-G event of the Alpine Ski World Cup. She finished 0.08 seconds ahead of Romane Miradoli and 0.19 seconds ahead of Sofia Goggia. The 24-year-old skier finished on the podium in four of six races this season. It's Robinson's third victory and 4th podium this winter.

The New Zealander's best finish in Super-G before today was two 4th places in St. Moritz in 2021and Kvitfjell in 2025. Today's World Cup podium, her 21st, sees Robinson break into the top 70 list for most Women’s World Cup podiums.

The Super-G is the only women’s event to feature at least seven different race winners in each of the last five seasons (including today's race).

"It's crazy; I wasn't expecting this today. This is where I completed my first successful Super-G run in a race. After spending enough time on the slope, I can confidently say, Okay, you have experience on this hill now; you know how it runs. I felt incredible during my run today. In Super-G, sometimes if you feel too good, it can actually slow you down. However, I believe I found a great balance between clean skiing and pushing when I could, while also letting the skis run smoothly," Robinson said.

Romane Miradoli claimed her fifth individual World Cup podium today; all of these were in the Super-G, although she also claimed one in the Team Parallel in Ã…re in 2018.

"I had a pretty good feeling, just my start was a little bit bad. Then I felt really nice, even too nice, because when you feel too good, sometimes it's slow," Miradoli said.

Sofia Goggia now has 64 World Cup podiums, 20 of them in the Super-G. She is the 10th women’s skier to claim 20 Super-G World Cup podiums, and the second Italian to do so after Federica Brignone (27).

After competing on Giant Slalom in the early part of the winter season, Goggia was happy with her fourth-third-third places in the beginning of the speed season in St. Moritz.

"If I had to describe it, I would say it was solid. I think I performed really well, but I know I could have done better, and I have a lot of room for improvement. I was tactical and had a good strategy, but I was also struggling in some areas. But today is a positive sign," Goggia said.
