Emma Aicher claimed today in St. Moritz her third Alpine Ski World Cup win and her second one in the Downhill. The 22-year-old German rising star, who finished fifth in Friday's first Downhill, finished 0.24 seconds ahead of runner-up Lindsey Vonn, with Sofia Goggia 0.05 seconds further back in third.
'I'm happy that I was able to carry out my plan. It was a bit bumpier than yesterday, so you could feel it. I just tried to do things better than yesterday, and I think I managed that pretty well,' said Aicher.
