The 22-year-old Swiss skier Malorie Blanc won the Alpine Ski World Cup Super-G in Crans Montana, finishing ahead of Sofia Goggia by 0.18 seconds and Breezy Johnson, who trailed by 0.36 seconds. Starting with bib number 17, Blanc delivered a perfect run in her home race to achieve his first victory and second podium finish in the World Cup. For Blanc, this was only her eleventh Super-G in the World Cup, and her 20th race overall. She achieved her only podium finish last season in the Downhill race in January in St. Anton.

Super-G Junior World Champion Malorie Blanc achieved her first win at the very place where, two years earlier, she had suffered a devastating setback. In 2024, she tore her ACL in a crash during the European Cup Downhill.

Blanc's win marks the fourth different winner in the four Super-G races of the 2025-2026 winter season. Alice Robinson claimed victory in the first race in St. Moritz, followed by Sofia Goggia's triumph in Val d'Isère, and Emma Aicher's win in Tarvisio, before Blanc's success in Crans Montana.

"Unbelievable, I’m having a little trouble processing it all. I’ve experienced everything on this slope; I even got injured here. It’s such a beautiful place; when I come to Valais, it’s simply home, and I can fully enjoy it. I’m so glad I did this on this slope for these people," Blanc said.

After four Super-G races, Sofia Goggia leads the discipline standings with 280 points. Alice Robinson is second with 220 points. Lindsey Vonn is third with 190 points.
