In Tremblant, the battle for victory between the two strongest Giant Slalom skiers in the Alpine Ski World Cup, Julia Scheib and Alice Robinson, added another exciting chapter, with Sara Hector as a guest star. After failing to finish yesterday's first run, Julia Scheib and Sara Hector finished today in first and second place, respectively. The Swedish Olympic champion moved up from seventh to second place, setting the fastest time in the second run. In the duel for the win, Scheib took the victory for the second time this season, ending Alice Robinson's winning streak and relegating the New Zealander to third place. Yesterday's winner lost their victory in a top-level Giant Slalom after a small mistake.

Scheib, who, in addition to her victory in Soelden, also finished second in Copper Mountain, drew level with Robinson in season wins with her victory in the second Giant Slalom in Tremblant. The 27-year-old Austrian skier finished 0.57 seconds ahead of Hector. Robinson, who was in first place after the first run, finished 0.78 seconds behind the winner.

Alice Robinson leads the Giant Slalom standings with 292 points, only 12 points ahead of Julia Scheib. Zrinka Ljutic is in third place with 178 points after finishing today in 7th position.

"It was a fantastic day. I’m very happy. After the first run, I knew I had to push harder, and I managed to do just that. You have to ski everything very precisely here. The slope isn't steep, so you just have to ski the important sections well and cleanly. I managed to do that!," Scheib said.
