Alice Robinson dominated the Alpine Ski World Cup Giant Slalom in Tremblant and claimed her second win of the 2025-2026 winter season. The 24-year-old skier from New Zealand finished 0.94 seconds ahead of Zrinka Ljutic. Valerie Grenier took third place, finishing 1.00 seconds behind Robinson.

The New Zealander has won six World Cup Giant Slalom races and finished on the podium 19 times. Following her victory today, she leads in the Giant Slalom standings. Robinson took advantage of Julia Scheib's elimination in the first run.

"That was such a tough race. I remember the last time I was here, I didn't have a very good weekend, so I was a bit worried coming into this week. I really didn't know what I was doing on this hill, but today it all came together seamlessly. It's a flat hill, but it's not easy. You have to be really tactically smart about where you push and where you hold back a little," said Robinson.

Zrinka Ljutic claimed her first World Cup podium of the season.

"I had so much fun skiing today, especially on the second run. My Giant Slalom is consistent, and when I trust myself, I know I can compete for the win." Ljutic said.

Valerie Grenier secured her fifth World Cup podium finish, her first in almost two years. By returning to her best form at home, the 29-year-old demonstrated that she had learned from her performances in the 2023 World Cup races in Tremblant, where she finished sixth and eighth.

'It's such a dream to be able to do this at home. I'm speechless. The first time, two years ago, I felt like I was putting a lot of pressure on myself. This year, however, I didn't think about it too much and didn't let the outside world get to me." Grenier said.
