Dominik Paris, 24 hours after his Downhill victory, also claimed the Alpine Ski World Cup Super-G win ahead of Vincent Kriechmayr (+0.07) and Raphael Haaser (+0.38). The 36-year-old speed specialist completed a perfect weekend for the Italian Team.
With his eighth victory overall on the Olympiabakken and his third in the Super-G, Paris became the sole record holder in Kvitfjell, taking over Kjetil Jansrud.
"I feel comfortable here, even though the snow didn't feel so good today. I tried to let the skis run free, and it looks like I managed it just a little better than Vincent Kriechmayr," Paris said.
The Super-G World Cup standings had already been decided before the race in Norway, as the events in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, its replacement in Courchevel, and another planned race in France had been canceled. Despite finishing today in 19th place and outside the points, Marco Odermatt secured the Super-G Crystal Globe for the fourth consecutive time, finishing 78 points ahead of Vincent Kriechmayr and 124 points ahead of Raphael Haaser.
The Alpine Ski World Cup Finals now move to the slopes of Hafjell, where the Giant Slalom and Slalom races are scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday.
