Following his Super-G triumph in Wengen, 24-year-old Italian skier Giovanni Franzoni secured his second Alpine Ski World Cup victory in the legendary Streif Downhill in Kitzbuehel.

Marco Odermatt secured his second victory in Kitzbühel today. Following his win in the Super-G event last season, the 28-year-old claimed his 17th career World Cup Super-G victory. With this triumph, he now joins Aksel Lund Svindal and Renate Götschl in fourth place on the all-time list for World Cup Super-G wins. Lindsey Vonn holds the record with 28 Super-G victories, while Hermann Maier leads the Men's category with 24 wins.
