Only four skiers have finished inside the Top 10 of every Super-G race of the 2025-2026 Alpine Ski World Cup season: Marco Odermatt, Vincent Kriechmayr, Raphael Haaser, and Stefan Rogentin.
Jan Zabystran won the last Super-G race in Val Gardena on 19 December, ahead of Marco Odermatt and Giovanni Franzoni. He claimed his first career World Cup win in Val Gardena. He had only one Top-10 finish before, an 8th place in Kvitfjell Super G in March 2025.
Franzoni claimed his first career Alpine World Cup podium in Val Gardena. His previous personal best finish was 4th place in the Beaver Creek Super-G in December 2024.
On December 5th, Vincent Kriechmayr won the Alpine Ski World Cup Super-G in Beaver Creek in a dominant way. He delivered an absolutely fantastic run in extremely difficult conditions, finishing 0.56 seconds ahead of Norwegian Fredrik Moeller. Raphael Haaser rounded up the podium in third place, 1.03 seconds behind his teammate.
Following his victory in the season opener in Sölden, Marco Odermatt won the first Alpine Ski World Cup Super-G of the season in Copper Mountain. In a close race, he beat Vincent Kriechmayr by just 0.08 seconds. World Champion Raphael Haaser secured third place, finishing just 0.13 seconds behind the leader.
Marco Odermatt’s second-place finish in Val Gardena has allowed him to secure outright third place on the Men's all-time list, with a total of 27 podiums in World Cup Super-G events. He is currently chasing Hermann Maier, who holds the record with 38 podiums, and Aksel Lund Svindal, who is in second place with 30.
With a victory, Odermatt could move into second place on the men’s all-time list of World Cup Super-G winners, joining Aksel Lund Svindal. He has 16 Super-G World Cup wins, which is one behind Svindal and eight behind Hermann Maier, who leads the list with 24 wins.
