On Wednesday, October 29, FIS launched the first episode of a new podcast, Alpine Pulse - Unplugged, born to reveal the main character behind the Alpine Ski World Cup.
Alpine Pulse is the official weekly podcast from the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). Hosted by former racer Nick Fellows and produced by Maniac Studios, it features in-depth interviews with top athletes about their triumphs and struggles on and off the slopes.
Every Wednesday, renowned storyteller and award-winning broadcaster Nick Fellows will explore the lives of those who risk everything in pursuit of speed and glory. A former Great Britain ski racer, Nick Fellows, joined Eurosport and Sky Sports News in 1989 and over the next 30 years established himself as one of the voices of Alpine Ski racing.
Over the course of deep, raw conversations, Fellows and the superstars of Alpine skiing will explore stories of triumph, fear, injury, resilience, and much more besides. Funny, heartbreaking, and deeply revealing, this is the podcast for fans of sport and life at its most honest.
Recorded in some of the most iconic locations in the world of skiing, each episode features some of the biggest names in the sport. From champions who define our sport to underdogs whose stories deserve to be heard, these athletes from all nations open up about their passions, their struggles, and what it means to be ruled by milliseconds.
This is an authentic, honest, and compellingly unfiltered podcast. It is as much for anyone interested in the human condition as it is for committed alpine ski fans.
The Alpine Pulse Podcast is available on FIS TV, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Deezer, and RSS-Feed.
The opening episode of The Alpine Pulse features FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2025 Overall Winner Federica Brignone.
