Alpine Ski World Cup 2025 Giant Slalom Winner Federica Brignone

Federica Brignone claimed her second career Giant Slalom Crystal Globe with a total of 580 points. She previously won the Giant Slalom Globe in 2020. Alice Robinson (520), along with Sara Hector (447), took second and third place in the discipline's rankings.


Federica Brignone had a sensational season, earning 16 podiums, including 10 victories. The tigress has been a delight to watch on the slopes this season. Her aggressive style of skiing has won the hearts of fans around the world. She was a true overall skier this season, as her victories came in three disciplines: Downhill, Super-G, and Giant Slalom. The skier from La Salle, Aosta Valley, won the Overall, Downhill, and Giant Slalom titles.


Brignone won her second Overall Crystal Globe, having previously won it in the 2019-2020 season. The 34-year-old brilliant Italian skier also claimed her first career Downhill Crystal Globe after the Sun Valley final race was canceled due to strong gusts of wind.


Federica Brignone won her third Crystal Globe in the Giant Slalom category. It’s her second Giant Slalom title after her first in 2020. Brignone, with five wins (Sölden, Semmering, Sestriere I and II, and Are) and a gold medal in the Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach, was crowned the best Giant Slalom skier of the 2024-2025 Alpine Ski World Cup winter season.

This season, Brignone has competed in nine Women's Giant Slalom World Cup events and finished on the podium in six. Brignone, except for her second place at the Finals in Sun Valley, has either won or failed to finish (three times in Killington, Kranjska Gora, and Kronplatz).
