Nine World Cup wins this season, two discipline Crystal Globes (Downhill and Super-G), and another Overall World Cup title. Marco Odermatt (Switzerland) has once again demonstrated he is the most consistent and therefore the best ski racer of our era for the fifth consecutive time.

After a long period of uncertainty, Swiss skier Lara Gut-Behrami announced her retirement today. Lara Gut-Behrami is a Swiss alpine ski racer known for her outstanding achievements in the sport and her exceptional talent, who forged her own path. She was a true overall skier this season, as her victories came in four disciplines: Downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom, and Alpine Combined.

Franjo Von Allmen and Federica Brignone claimed the titles of King and Queen of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games with three and two gold medals, respectively. Franjo von Allmen was a standout in the Men's speed events, winning gold in both the Downhill and Super-G. Alongside Tanguy Nef, he also secured victory in the Team Combined event. Federica Brignone led the home nation's success with two gold medals, winning both the women's Giant Slalom and the Super-G.

On Friday, March 15, in Hafjell, Marco Odermatt (Switzerland) secured the Overall and Giant Slalom Crystal Globes.
