The fourth Alpine Ski World Cup Super-G of the 2025-2026 winter season saw a new winner in the discipline: Marco Schwarz. The 30-year-old athlete secured his eighth World Cup victory, marking his second win this winter. Starting with bib number 4, he delivered an exceptional run, achieving his first victory in the Super-G by finishing ahead of Alexis Monney, who was 0.20 seconds behind, and Franjo Von Allmen, who finished 0.25 seconds back. Marco Odermatt placed fourth, 0.29 seconds off the pace set by Schwarz.

Schwarz's previous podium finish in the Super-G came in March 2023 in Soldeu, Andorra.

The Austrian confirmed his successful comeback with his second win of the season, following the Giant Slalom in Alta Badia, after a challenging period.

"I'd say I'm back to 100 percent. I'm feeling great again. Physically, I'm doing well. If I keep getting my breaks, then we've got it well under control. I feel very, very good. My love for slalom skiing remains. Now I'm looking forward to a break, and then I'll fit in a block of slalom training," Schwarz said in an ORF interview.

Alexis Monney, who had not reached the Top 10 in the three Super-Gs of the season, claimed his first podium of the winter in any discipline after achieving five in 2024-2025.

"I'm very happy with my run. The start of the season wasn't so great. I wanted to have a run today without any major mistakes, and I think I managed that," Monney said.

Franjo Von Allmen, Monney's teammate, struggled in the first Super-G races of the season, recording two DNFs and achieving only a ninth place in Copper Mountain as his best result. Today, he claimed his 11th World Cup podium.

"I'm really happy with my performance because I have two zeros in a row in Super-G, so I'm in the finish with a good result," Von Allmen said.
