Marco Odermatt claimed his third consecutive Downhill Crystal Globe. The last Swiss skier to win the Downhill Crystal Globe before Odermatt was Beat Feuz, who won four between 2017-2018 and 2020-2021.
During this season, the 28-year-old Swiss ski champion secured a podium finish in the Downhill eight times out of nine races, achieving four victories in Beaver Creek, Val Gardena, Wengen, and Garmisch Partenkirchen.

Valerie Grenier Wins Last Alpine Ski World Cup Giant Slalom, Mikaela Shiffrin Grabs Her Sixth Overall Crystal Globe
Canadian Valerie Grenier won the last Alpine Ski World Cup Giant Slalom of the 2025-2026 winter season in Hafjell. She finished 0.43 seconds ahead of Mina Fürst Holtmann. Giant Slalom Crystal Globe winner Julia Scheib took third place, 0.57 seconds behind Grenier.
Mikaela Shiffrin secured her sixth overall Crystal Globe with an eleventh-place finish in today's race. She finished only 87 points ahead of Emma Aicher.

Vincent Kriechmayr won in Courchevel the last Downhill of the season before the Finals. The Austrian finished 0.09 seconds ahead of Giovanni Franzoni. Marco Odermatt finished in the third position, +0.31 seconds behind Kriechmayr. Thanks to today's third place, Marco Odermatt secured the Alpine Ski World Cup Downhill and Overall Crystal Globes.

Second Victory of the Season for Sofia Goggia at the Super-G Alpine Ski World Cup in Soldeu
Sofia Goggia won the second Alpine Ski World Cup Super-G event held in Soldeu, Andorra. The 33-year-old Italian won her second race of the 2025-2026 winter season. Emma Aicher finished in second position, 0.24 seconds behind Goggia, to achieve her 10th podium in the 2025-2026 Alpine Ski World Cup season. Kajsa Vickhoff Lie rounded up the podium in third place, 0.31 seconds behind the winner.
