The 2026-2027 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup officially kicks off this weekend in Soelden, Austria, with the Women's Giant Slalom. Julia Scheib, Camille Rast, Sara Hector, Mikaela Shiffrin and Alice Robinson are the favorites to win the 2026 Giant Slalom on the Rettenbach Glacier. Emma Aicher, who last year came within a whisker of the overall title, aims to excel across all four disciplines from the start of this season.
