Marco Odermatt claimed his third consecutive Downhill Crystal Globe. The last Swiss skier to win the Downhill Crystal Globe before Odermatt was Beat Feuz, who won four between 2017-2018 and 2020-2021.
During this season, the 28-year-old Swiss ski champion secured a podium finish in the Downhill eight times out of nine races, achieving four victories in Beaver Creek, Val Gardena, Wengen, and Garmisch Partenkirchen.

Alpine Ski World Cup 2026 Downhill Winner Laura Pirovano
Laura Pirovano won the last Downhill of the Alpine Ski World Cup season and claimed her first career Downhill title. She finished 0.15 seconds ahead of Breezy Johnson. Kira Weidle-Winkelmann finished in third place, 0.25 seconds behind.
The 28-year-old Italian skier completed her impressive run with her third consecutive victory at the World Cup Finals in Kvitfjell. Her winning streak began two weeks ago with her maiden victory in Val di Fassa.

FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2026 Overall Winner Mikaela Shiffrin
Mikaela Shiffrin has won the Overall Alpine Ski World Cup title six times (in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2026). Only Marcel Hirscher (8) and Annemarie Moser-Pröll (6) have won the Overall World Cup at least six times. She goes past Lindsey Vonn as the American with the most Big Globes to her name.
